Hi, I recently purchased 2 American Gun Co. Knickerbocker double barrels. They're in okay shape, but everything I read online says you can't shoot modern ammo through them. I'm planning on selling them but want to make sure I give the purchaser the right information. One of them has "Genuine Armoury Steel" stamped on one of the barrels, and the other does not. Bore's aren't great but look to be alright. Any additional info on these shotguns would be great.

I also purchased a Davenport Arms, and Columbia Arms single shot 12 gauge's. They look to be very old and I'm wondering whether those are able to fire modern ammo through them. I've done some research but haven't found much on them.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm not super knowledgable on these old shotguns.

They are low end quality guns. They should not be shot with modern high pressure loads. They also may very likely have short chambers. If the bores have much pitting , or if the action has play, they should be regarded as wall hangers. Same goes for the single shots. Hopefully you didn't pay much for them as the value for the double barrels is around $150.00 and even less for the single shots.
