I'm pretty sure we won't see surplus 8mm ever again. The Yugoslavian stuff was the last of it IIRC.

looks like the emblem of the old shah (king). A lion with a sword. I can't tell though. Pic is too small.

Also, text would be farsi, not arabic. Although it's the same script with minor variation, so easily mistakable.
