I remember when I used to buy them for 10 dollars . what the heck is going on ?? the Surplus place near me in Hamilton wants $30 dollars for one . there brand new but the most I would spend is $20 .

I actually found some plastic white humidors (12) obviously used for tobacco storage left at the range last month and used them for ammo..

Canada Ammo stocks 5 or 6 different sizes. They sell out of the most popular ones on occasion, but usually restock pretty quick. If you buy them by the case the price is pretty decent and you'll likely get Free Shipping. Its worth checking them out

Friggen crazy...

...I don't know why the prices for surplus ammo cans has jumped up so much over the last decade.

Christ, at Prefair, less than 10 years ago, I was paying $7 for the 223 cans and $9 for the 308 cans, the "really expensive" ones were the 50 cal ($12) and the (20mm or 30mm)?? at $19/can.

Glad I bought the proverbial "boat-load" of them back then.
