Can anyone recommend a retailer for .45 Long Colt Cowboy ammo in Calgary or online?

I just ordered a STI Texican .45 LC SAA and need to know where to buy ammo for it in bulk and at a reasonable price.

I am getting an older retired guy to load mine for me... he is in terrace though. I supply the brass and storage boxes and he casts the bullets and loads them for me.

try and find an old retired guy in your area.... works out way cheaper and he can tailor a load for your gun.

Reloading

Buy a Dillon RL550 and reload it yourself. BTW the STI Texican is one sweet SAA. The one I dropped the hammer on at the SHOT show was superb.

Good advice. I have a RL550 B, still in the box. It's time to start learning how to use it.

Where do you recommend getting your bullets and reloading supplies? I also use.9mm, .40S&W, .45ACP, .223, .308 and 30-06 ammunition.

Yes, I bought a Les Baer Custom Premiere II.45ACP from Ronin Sports last year. I bought one he had in stock with the 1.5 inch guarantee; A very nice pistol.

Nice, the PII is the best buy (price/quality/precision/reliability) you can get!
You should post a review and a few targets......

I have a SRP with Bear coat!

So getting back to your question on where to buy ammo for the 45lc, it is avbl at both The Shooting Edge and ProLine Shooters, as well as Wholesale and Russels Sports. Be warned though, its not inexpensive anymore..
Enjoy it cuz its a fun cartridge to use. Load it mild or wild. You wont be disappointed.
Cheers:D
