Ammo for Chiappa 1911, GSG 1911, etc

I'm sure they were designed to run on standard velocity bulk .22lr. Personally I like the Blazer bulk pack lrn's, work well in all my .22 auto's.

You have to try a box of as many brands as you can. The price of the ammo means nothing.

Im just trying to get a few brands/types to start with. I have a TON of Winchester Xpert HV's and they are crap. Very loose lead bullets. I don't even like using them in my Savage Mark II

I have tried many brands to solve a feed issue I had with the GSG. ALL seem to work the same. Even sub sonic. I use win wildcat most because they work best with my other shootables.

The manual says it's designed for HV if I remember but as above ,,,,,,

From the manual
D-01: Product Description / main features
Dear valued customer,
The GSG-1911 pistol has been constructed according to updated knowledge of modern
gun manufacturing for caliber .22 long rifle HV ammunition.
Because of the high bandwidth of caliber .22 ammunition we decided to adjust the
GSG-1911 to the high quality standard-ammunition as well as the HV-ammunition.

If you feed it, it will eat :)

(Except those friggin xpert HV's... I wouldn't denegrate a groundhogs death with those. Crap !!)

Mine wouldn't cycle standard velocity when it was new. After 2000 rds it will fire the standard velocity fine. All the high velocity rds I tried cycled fine with very few issues.

my marlin 795 and my norc m-93 both love the winchester 40gr copper plated hollow point power points
