Found this under the floor boards of a shed I was helping to take apart and was told I could keep it. What is the clip for and what 3 types of ammo are they?

2 rounds have markings of:
K5 44 GIII

2 other rounds have:
VII 38 R [a marking that looks like three lines leading to a point, sorta of like an upside down "V" split in half] L

Last has:
RG 1942 BVIIZ

Royal Laboratory, Woolwich Arsenal, Kent, UK


Last has:
RG 1942 BVIIZ Royal Ordnance Factory Radway Green, Radway Green, UK

I think.

the three lines are the king's broad arrow and designate British government property.

yup looks like some real old .303 british ammo....real cool stuff i love old ammo....
