Ammo in Canada?

I haven't tried the load by full well intend to. There is a handload using VV powders and 147 XTP bullets that is supposed to approach 1200 fps. That is nearing .357 sig type velocities. Buffalo Bore I believe commercially loads a similar load, but good luck getting such loads in this country.

I have used the Hydra Shok enough to know I don't like them. Granted mine were 147 grain, but they fill up with stuff and don't expand quite frequently. I have had worse luck with those putting deer down on the side of the road than with anything else. I know that 147 fmj flat points even have worked better for me.

Yeah, I'd prefer if they were HSTs rather than Hydra-Shoks. Oh well, the price was really good. I'd glady trade for a lesser quantity of Gold Dots.
