Ammo in my xcr

Howdy everyone.
I just purchased a 7.62x39 xcr from wolverine ( Customer for life), however I planned on shooting corrosive through it at the range and just thoroughly cleaning after like everything when you shoot surplus. When I told this to a friend, he told me that its a good idea till I need a new everything cuz no matter what Its gunna eat away at my gun. Ive never experienced this with any of my old surplus guns, which all shoot surplus. However this is my first black rifle so Im not sure if they are weaker in comparison to WW2 rifles in the corrosion resistance area. Opinions, views?

Shoot corrosive and clean it thoroughly. It won't cause issues.

I have seen an xcr that has fired thousands of corrosive rounds and worked great. Go for it!

I'm over 2500 corrosive through my XCR and it's all still there.

hahaha well Im just happy to hear I can shoot my mountain of surplus ammo threw the gun I saved it for! Does anyone have views on what runs better for accuracy, like ukrainian, russian, czech or stuff like MFS and LVE?

mine love the romanian stuff. accurate too. Czech great as well. seems to like the green cases
