I have a 3 month contract up in Yellowknife and have joined the local gun club. Have met some great guys, shot a match today, realized I have nowhere neer enough .40 S&W ammo to last me. Cannot buy locally. What is my best option to get about 1000 rnds up to here?

Ask one of the drivers from rtl, who has his pal, to bring you some next time he makes a round trip to Edmonton. Guys are driving to Edmonton all the time from yellow knife, surely someone can bring you some up.
Or order some through Canadian tire, they carry handgun ammo down south and if they have ammo in YK they can get you some.

Barry Taylor, who posts as Arctic on the board, travels out from time to time. I feel pretty confident that he woul d bring you some back...if he can fit it in the truck with whatever ammo he's bringing back!
