I was in my local Home Hardware this morning and was informed by the sales girls that .22 ammo has took a jump in price.The Winchester X-pert ammo went from $15.97 to $23.97 for a box of 500.Anyone else notice this? Anyone know why???

But... I have to admit to paying WAY more than I wanted to for non corrosive 7.62x39... Got myself in trouble with the better half, so I sold half of the case off to redeeme myself... ha ha ha Pretty sick when you spend more on ammo than the cost of the gun, ie my russian sks when it gets here!!!

I have seen some ammo listed at $2.00 a box of 50. It was Peavey Mart or maybe a Co-op store. I guess that was a sign of a coming price increase.

Just bought 2 bricks of Federal Gold Medal 711B at the local gunshop for $39.99 a brick. Put them in the ammo cabinet next to the one brick of the same ammo that I had left from a year ago. I noticed it is priced at $29.95 a brick.
