ammo inventory... do you know what you're low on?

I like this a lot. I have a limited spreadsheet for reloading components. I have that available on my phone. Sometimes I see a projectile on the shelf and want to buy it, but I already have some.
I'd like to have your sheet for ammo. Nice graphs.

I have so much of everything that its embarrassing. I don't think I could shoot it all at normal shooting rates in my lifetime. If I was only into hunting I'd be good for several lifetimes.
Do I worry about that fact? Nope!

If I find something that has been difficult to find, or that is available at a great price, I buy it, you can't have too much, and it will get used. Better to have extra than to run low.

Excel.

Ive got a rough idea of what I have, and when i see ammo for a good price I buy it, regardless of time of year, location, or how much of it I have already. Make sure I have minimum 40 of my preferred hunting loads at all times.

Wish I had your money!! Can I put in a request to be put on the will so when you do eventually kick it I can make sure that the stockpile doesn't make front page news. :)

That's my problem, I have a few obscure calibers that usually aren't found at good prices, so then I run low on those, and then buy the good deals which over stocks me on those calibers when I could have spent that money on the other calibers that are lacking.
Could I get you to write my wife and tell her that I can never have enough ammo... :) I do agree, it's just the money to buy the ammo is what is lacking which means I need to be more careful with how I spend my allowance.

I have a deep cabinet that it's in so it can be hard to see what's at the back so this works for me to know for sure what's there, then I re-sort it a few times a year to clean it up and condense it down and that's when I do my inventories, sometimes when I am headed to the range I'll throw another firearm that hasn't seen some action in a while and I'll grab a few boxes of ammo, and I might not realize I did which throws out inventory, which also means I might forget that I need to replace it which means that the numbers dwindle.
