just got back from a trip to Cabelas.
Ammo is on the brink of.... well.....

the regular Federal blue box is down to 8-9 $ !!! I don't use it, but,,,,
at the same time CCI changed the label on the boxes and that thing apparently is very expensive... Stingers 22 is 6$ and change and all the new ammo is up some awful %.

good thing wallmart has some on sale.... get it while you can, guys, because things look like they are going to get ugly expensive in our business.:runaway:

How much are scrap shops paying for a Kg or Lb of brass?:)

Depends on what you have. Yellow brass will get you between $0.80 - $1/lb for clean turnings or solids in small quantities (like around 100lbs). If you had a ton of it, you could probably get $1.50 - $2/lb.

I'm gonna have to keep my brass from now on then. I usually just but factory ammo by the case as it a business expense. I've never kept the brass, just toss it at the range.

"...just toss it..." That'd be throwing money out the window. Even if you can write it off. Unless it's milsurp berdan primed.
"...100 lbs of brass is a lot of brass..." 100 pounds is a lot of brass for a warehouse too.
Engineers dig holes. Then a technician is required to fix it.
