I recently came across a clean old Wingmaster 12 gauge in 2 and 3/4" and want to use it for some waterfowling. Haven't been goose / duck hunting for many years and wonder if Bismuth or Tungsten is still around or what are guys using these days for their old 12 gauges? I've been told that steel is not to be used in these old shotguns. Thanks.

If you have the cash I'd look at Kent Tungsten Matrix(personal favorite for older 16 ga.) or one of the Hevi-Shot options. Otherwise I've been using Kent Bismuth(both waterfowl and upland versions) and Hevi-Shot Hevi Bismuth lately in an fixed choke ZP-49, Winchester M12 Heavy Duck with fixed choke, and older Browning Auto 5 light 12. Results have been favorable with both but I prefer the Kent, seems to be a little softer shooting.
