Seems every year at this time ammo price go up. Any rumours out there? I hear all components going up. Last yr we paid $42 flat for win target, whats everyone hearing for this year. Anyone using challenger shells? Wondering for local supplier?----Cowboy

I just paid $44 for win target loads (40 cases). The next shipment the price goes up but he said it will under $50. Those prices are taxes in.

Stock up boys because there is a healthy increase this year and I exspect another healthy increase next year as well as the value of lead continues to sky rocket.
I just priced out some shot for reloading and the guy wants $33.00 per bag plus tax.
I was at Wholesale in Lethbridge Alberta a month or so ago and they still had some Win super target at $45.99. FS

Bogman wins! $44 a flat taxes in is a good deal these days!

Locally the Rem Gun Clubs, or the Fed Top Guns run 2 flats for $117 taxes in. I haven't talked to the Winchester rep at the club to see what the best deal he can do, but I heard it was possibly $47 a flat taxes in.

Sucks big time! Costs enough to shoot a lot.:(

I thought Reliable was selling flats of Remingtons for $45 per case taxes in ??
Now I know your local Winchester Rep was selling flats of Winchesters Super Target ? ( the cheap ones) for less than that, but I am not sure about this year. I would be interested to know.

That was the price from Reliable that I quoted on my prior post, the new price!:( It used to work out to $104 taxes in (2 flats) last year, so it's not to big a jump, but it adds up when you shoot 5000+ shells a year. That's why I will reload until my shot runs out, then I will be in a fix, as lead prices have skyrocketed too. Can't win. I haven't found out what Jerry is selling them for yet.

The prices I quoted were for a minimum 10 cases. One fella at my club bought 20 cases for himself and another bought 10 so maybe they got a deal??

As for lead I may be able to help you out. Pm or email me.

I've only purchased a few hundred rounds at this point, and haven't ventured beyond the 100 packs but I guess this is the next thing to look for, it would represent a fair savings.

I will look next time I'm at Reliable since Jacky mentioned that they had pretty decent prices.
