Natchez Shooters Supply home page has a message that Remington and Winchester have announced their ammunition prices will increase 5%-12% on june 1st.

yup we all need to do this.....just tell them your wages will be going up 5 to 12% next month:rolleyes:

They know that the price is going up but they can't say by how much?

Seems like were in a new period of price hikes on everything because of resource scarcity, but I think some manufacturers are pushing it up beyond what they have to just to realize some of the "record profits" that are popular right now!:mad:
 
i was in to wal-mart today 303 was $23.00 from $18.00 a few months ago:mad:, it wont be to long before reloading is hit as well do to popularity of shooting :(
 
Reloaders have been hit with the same rising costs as the componets are getting real pricey these days,

You will still save money, bullets have gone up 30%+ in less than a year. Primers and brass also have been rising.
 
I was at a conference, and met a few guys from US Army Propenllant Division. According to them, all the 5.56, 7.62 and 50 cal ammonunition produced for the US ARMY are not enough, and US ARMY is buying in the open market to maintain inventory.

This means price will continue to increase.
