Just a public service announcement, not trying to start a "why do you buy there" etc.
Price changes came down at Canadian Tire for all stores selling ammunition sourced through the Corporation (which is a majority of the ammo sold in stores that carry it).
Most prices have increased 10 to 15% - it isn't a static across the board (fixed) percentage. So what sold for $29.99 yesterday is $34.99 today (as an example).
Might be time to stock up at your favourite shop if they are still holding the line on their ammo prices. This was done as a direct reflection of the exchange rate and I would not be surprised if there is another increase later this year. Crappy Tire did hedge the US dollar when it started to move but obviously the "holiday" has been coming to an end.
I expect all ammunition sellers to have to increase prices going forward as they start turning over stock...
