Hello,
My father in law got me an older Winchester Cowboy action 22 Win Mag from a friend that owed him money. It's very fun to shoot but I had a question I'm sure you guys would know the answer to. This rifle has a spring loaded in line tube magazine located under the barrel. Now just in case I have only shot hollowpoints through it, but it came with a box of Horandy ammo with a few missing that have a plastic pointy red tip. Is it ok to load these up and shoot them or is there a chance of one of the points accidentally setting off the next cartridge in the magazine? If the rifle was dropped or something. Should I only use hollow points?
Thanks for the help.
