Ammo Question

So I will admit I know little about the shotgun world. However I am now part of this world, I bougt a Remi 1100 3" MAG.
Can I use steel shot in this gun? Im not really a bird hunter,just like blowin chit up. What ammo should I be using for my mission?

Steel is mostly for waterfowl, if you're just blowing up stuff, why go to the extra expense for reduced performance? I love shooting the heck out of stuff too, but I'd hate paying more than $26/100 for doing it.

Your closest SIR/Wholesale Sports/firearms dealer should have a box of 250 for under $55. For a while I was picking up 250 Federal #7.5's for $48.99. Way cheaper than paying for steel and I'ver never had a problem with any of them. And all I do with it is blow chit up. And the occasional grouse head shot.
