Does anyone know if there is any difference between Blazer .22LR and CCI standard velocity .22LR round nose (1070 FPS)?? Is one more powerful than the other? The CCI Standard velocity is 40 grains... the same as Blazer but it says Target on the box so I am wondering if it is more accurate.

Two wonderful .22 ammo from CCI or should I say ATK.

The Blazer has a muzzle velocity of 1235.

results from using a Bleiker rifle, with a 2-stage trigger....data courtesy of an independant tester.

Although I don't have that much gun ... nor squeeze the groups quite so small, I do get pretty much the same accuracy "ranking" as that shown. In my own testing, (and I haven't managed quite so many brands/variations, I've managed the best results as well with Eley's Tenex Ultimate EPS, followed closely by Lapua Midas M. For "every day use" however, I far prefer CCI's "Green Tag" over their Standard Velocity or Blazer. Although a little pricier, I find it more accurate and consistant.
