Ammo S&B or American Eagle in 45ACP?

Hi Everyone,

I have been offered a great deal on either the S&B or American Eagle for my usp 45c. Just wondering if some can recommend which one is better?

If you reload go with the AE....primer pockets are a bit finicky on the S&B on the first reload.
I do find S&B ammo leaves more brass dust inside the pistol as well (factory ammo, not reloads).
The ammo itself is equal either way..
 
I'm using both right now, 1000 round each. The only difference is that there's one hang fire with American eagle, but everything remains perfect with S&B. Also like spawn said S&B comes with smaller pack for 50 rounds.

Also I have noticed that the S&B rounds seems to be a little brighter and "golder" than the AE, less scratches on the case, too.

Ive noticed this. Shoot both back to back and inspect the brass. S&B brass seems to be better quality and holds up a bit better. Its also loaded hot compared to alot of domestic ####. S&B is my favourite cheap ammo. If it was me there would be no question. S&B is better quality IMO.
 
Last ??? If you had to choose between S&B regular and AE non-toxic what would you choose. I think I hear S&B but the non-toxic is appealing. I have been shooting S&B and very happy with it just was not sure if the two which is better.
