I have a Ruger .22 and a CZ 75B. My intent is to round out my needs with a .357 revolver, either a S&W or a Taurus with a 4" barrel and a 45 cal ACP. The .22 is just for plinking and training my daughters how to shoot. Since I bought the CZ last September I've put 1320 rds thru it of all grains and powder qualities without a single jam. I like 124 gr 9mm but need to test some 115 gr before I settle for what I'll use for competition shooting. Any advise out there on ammo?

Depending on what ''competition" shooting you are planning, I would just stick to 124 or 147gr. 115gr has to be sped up to meet PF. Find which one YOU shoot the best and like the feel of.

In my experience, CZ's are not bullet weight picky but are OAL finicky.

while 115 dont have to be super sonic to make pf, i like a larger margin of saftey than what you would get running them subsonic (ie:little to none)

124 and 147 are the usual, i prefer 147 personally but 2 quite good guys i know run 124 in their shadows
