“We had two crates of 7.62x39, seventy-five boxes of .22lr, five sheets of reactive targets, a salt shaker half full of black powder, and a whole galaxy of bird shot, buckshot, slugs, steel shot... and also a pound of Hogdon, a pound of IMR, a case of .45 ACP, a pint of Hoppe's No. 9 and two dozen bear bangers. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious ammo collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.”
