Ammo - What's Hot And What's Not In 45acp

I have never shot a 45, and now I own a USP45. Please some of you experts, tell me which rounds have heavier recoil and which lighter. I have some 230 American Eagle FMJ, where do they rank? Thanks

There's not much choice in my neck of the woods... Winchester, UMC, or American Eagle. They all seem adequate. I get the best results with my own loads. But, for cheapish factory stuff I prefer Winchester over the others.

i find the winchester 230g fouls the end of my stainless pistol wayy more than american eagle 230g for some reason.

I may go back to reloading too. What bullets, what powder (and how much)
are you using. What are the numbers, i.e. fps, etc.
Another question - what kind of lead can you shoot in a USP with its fussy barrel? Just FMJ or WC too?
