Ammunition recommendations?

any 22 ammunitions will do fine. But you have to shot the game in the head which is hard. A shotgun is much better and you do not have to worry about where the bullet will go after the shot!

It really doesn't take much to cleanly harvest these little beasts if you strive for head shots. If you desire thread the needle accuracy SK Standard Plus or Rifle Match would be plenty fine.
On the other end of it CCI Mini Mags are popular too.
There's dozens more great answers in between these two.

Right ,everyone is on head shots.:)

For hunting ,I use Winchester Super-X,with the 40 grain, round nose , copper plated, solid bullet.Velocity of 1255.

Whatever is accurate in your rifle out to the maximum distance you intend to shoot at. Only testing many ammos can tell you this, nobody here knows what your gun will respond best to. For one of my CZ's, Eley HV HP does the trick.

This is only my opinion but I would see what consistently produces the best groups out of the rifle you'll be using and use that ammo! I don't think there will be much difference in performance when it's head shots as far as velocity but huge difference between hits and misses. Good fortune to you in ur hunting! Chris
