Is it possible to build bullets out of salvaged, consistent, AMPCO 45 copper-nickel?

based solely on a quick google image search, yes with the appropriate milling tools.

I have a neighbouring transmission shop that breaks down FUBAR transmissions. He collects all the individual pieces and separates they components. The synchro-rings from automatic transmissions are comprised of AMPCO 45. I suppose it would come down to melting and casting small dowels that may be appropriate for machining bullets.
