Are they still out there? I know AMT was bought out buy some other company, but im wondering how many hardballers are out there.

Ever since i used them in the Hitman games, i've wanted one.

There are some on the used market. You could probably find them for $400-600. They aren't very popular apart from the novelty factor the Hitman games gave them. They aren't too reliable and take a bit of TLC to get running smoothly.

Had one, been'dare, dun'dat!
Waste of money IMHO.

Save your cash for a Colt or a Kimber instead.

"...They aren't too reliable..." Yep. AMT went out of business because of QC issues. The SS is reported as being too soft.

There's a used on on consignment at Target Sports. Give them a call. Not expensive but needs a bit of TLC. It looked a bit beat up.

AMT guns generally have a poor reputation. Just get another stainless 1911 with the features you want from a reputable maker.
