An Old Remington Film About The 1100

I saw this video hunting at the Canadian National Sportsmans Show in Toronto about 1960 and have wanted to shoot from a layout boat ever since! We tend to dress a bit differently nowadays! Thanks.

The part about the 1100 was interesting the rest of the film was fascinating being a diehard waterfowl hunter and a water hunter which being in Saskatchewan was a no no don't shoot the birds on the water you will scare them away Lol
Love the old footage
I will add a 1100 comment and a bit negative at that with a twist
In 1980 I bought a new left hand 1100 2 3/4" with a full choke bbl and a mod bbl the gun malfunctioned right out of the box that was it for the 1100
Here's the kicker I was working at Russell's sporting goods in Calgary doing gunsmithing and we were the warranty depot for Remington

The only remington Shotgun I own is from that era . A 1968 1100 12 frame 20ga 28"vr barrel . With red mahoganany wood . Thanks for the video.

If anyone is interested ole 3Macs1 is still here albeit on the sidelines which was good to hear. I sent him a PM to see if he was still lurking and he is occasionally, just busy with life.

Good to hear. He annoys the hell out of me but glad he's around. I don't like it when they go silent. Too many internet friends on other forums have done that and the news usually isn't good.

Getting to that time when I am afraid to ask how the wife or husband is when I meet people, often I missed the funeral.
Friend had a 1100 rem 12 and that guns had about 1m rounds through it , it outlasted the owner
