Got this one back same day as the 250 Savage.Picked up a 30-06 mountain rifle had Dennis true the action and put on the barrel (Benchmark)I pick up on here.
Was all ready ceracoated and had the muzzle brake.Fit in the factory mountain stock.It is 6.8 lbs.It had the trigger already.

I had one on a 600 action and it was not too short. I'm not a fan of the long target bullets. A well constructed lighter bullet kills quicker. On a long action I would go to the 6.5-06.
 
Very nice and in :) an interesting calibre. However,;) with my pre metric era tastes, I still lean towards blued steel and nicely figured wood. Buuuutttttt,;) part way to 'acceptable' for me is the likes of your Limited Edition '06, a wood and stainless combo.
