anyone know much about AN/PRC-6 radios
I have hade these for decades they have D battery conversion kits from around 1969/70

If they do work by chance, you would need a Ham License to transmit on the 6M band

I have hade these for decades they have D battery conversion kits from around 1969/70

I've had one for a lot of years, built a battery pack for it and used it on 6m Ham band ( Licensed) Single channel only.
I also have the German version PRC 6/6, six channels, that one I bought an Italian made inverter power supply for.
Fascinating how they miniaturized these radios with their tiny little pencil tubes, If you need any info just shoot me a PM
