I posted this same topic over at ### (where I mainly hang out) but thought I would post the same thing here fer ####z 'n giggles....

Who do I pay to make this happen??

Right now, this is the ONLY reason I still have the Ruger Mini 30 in my "wish list".

Imagine a $189 SKS in THAT thing with an 7.62 AR Magwell Adapter!!!

I'm holding out hope that ProMag will do a version of this for the SKS.

Im actually thinking of another possibility. Well, if the Sparta ever comes out for the SKS anyway... And it involves taking an $85 polymer adapter by CSA for the VZ58 and seeing if it could be adapted for this purpose. I plan on having several VZ58's with their magwell adapters... So Im thinking about how to sort of have a similar platform so to speak.... If that makes any sense.

You mean the pretend "AK" stock? Thats not the "SPARTA". Look again.

The Sparta has a flat top full length rail upper that is a single piece of machined aluminum. We are talking about two different beasts. The Sparta is a "SCAR" style stock, not AK.

We are both talking about the same company, Promag/Archangel. They have a stock out for the SKS that they refer to as the Sparta stock. The butt stock is very similar to what you have shown. I very much doubt that they will bring out another stock to compete with what they already have. Besides, the need to remove the gas tube to clean an SKS makes the full length top rail a problem.
 
I know exactly what you are think you are talking about.

Its not called a Sparta. In fact its NOT CALLED ANYTHING! It simply has a model number code. You can go to Archangel's site yourself if you need clarification.

And I don't need to get it from Hical. I will be getting mine from Flaherty's... For $169.
