An unfortunate incident

This fellow was a non-resident so he should have had a guide... right?
I can't believe the Mounties don't have a lead in this case... or at least a person of interest... they probably could really use some more info.
Sometimes an offer of a reward will shake some information loose.

Not sure where the guide was, but i do know there was a reward offered.
Apparanty the scum thhat shot him went up and rolled him over, according to the forensic evidence!

It wasn't a case of someone running away after mistaking him for a bear.

They may well do, but not enough evidence to take to the crown!

How true. We had a double homicide in this area about 20 years ago. I have talked to the 2 detectives that were assigned the case. They are 99.9% sure they know who did it, but haven't got the evidence to back it up. When you consider the time elapsed since it happened, if it had have been an open and shut case, the perp would be out of the slammer by now.
