Hello CGN, my name is Ian, and I'm new(ish) to CGN. So i thought I'd tell a little about my life story? Why? i like stories :OD
I was born in the UK, but from the age of 3 on have lived in Canada. I'm 24, live in Brampton, Ontario, sell auto parts for a living, and hate it :O)
I took the firearms safety course and received my r/pal about 3 years ago. And have never owned or used a firearm since then. I'm interested in the modern semi-automatic pistols and so-called "black" rifles, in a purely target shooting capacity.
I'm taking night school classes in CNC, and have semi-realistic plans to produce my own AR-15 upper and lower receiver, in a year or two. Because I'm as interested in how something's produced as how it's used... And from what I've found, unless you get a good used deal, or are prepared to buy chinese, firearms are expensive!
If anyone in the area (or extended area...) is interested in taking a newbie to the range for a day, I'd definitely be interested.
