sort of. Nearly lost the dog earlier (another story) but still made it in time for an evening hunt on a little slough surrounded by barley. Put out 9 dekes and a spinner and simply stood in the grass in shallow water. We had planned on concentrating on teal but rafts and rafts of mallards and gadwall were pouring into this postage stamp sized puddle so we gave into temptation and pounded a few of those too. The guy I was with did however, drop the spinner in its camoflaged bag into the barley field in the dark and we had to spend a half hour looking for it (dog sniffed it out)..
