From what I read these were 2 separate companies from different parts of Italy. Both made combination guns and both often stamped their barrels A. Zoli. Both seem to come up fairly common and for about the same coin given similar conditions. Is one better than the other or are they interchangable as a hunting gun?
I didn't want to hi jack the combo gun thread

Antonio Zoli are higher end, more bespoke guns, of excellent quality.

Angelo Zoli was more of a lower end, working mans gun. I've owned a pair of O/Us made by them. Decent quality guns, both 12G, one had a unique underlever action release, the other was a conventional O/U.

Agreed, approximately like Beretta and Franchi. Both make fine guns but overall there is a difference in quality.

Good to know thanks. I've been looking at the FAIR combo guns online but haven't seen one in person so I'm hesitant to order a custom one and then find out I don't like it. I may pick up a zoli gun to see if I like the concept. I read and hear they are much better regulated than any of the Stevens and savages. I want it for mixed bag hunting on kayak trips

Companies that have a good reputation for their double rifles, like FAIR, Antonio Zoli, Kreighoff and other quality European makers can also normally be depended on to do a great job of regulating any form of double barrelled gun.

Nothing wrong with either.
Angelo Zoli made guns comparable to the affordable Italian brands still being made.

Antonio Zoli is a high end brand, and still in business.
