I'm considering getting an Anschutz 64MPR.
It will be for casual shooting and a little friendly competition
with my range buds.
I'll be shooting off the bench at mostly 50 yds and maybe 100 yds.
Would you recommend this rifle.
I am seeking very good, consistent accuracy at a price point(ouch) that I could live with.
I'll be scoping it with probably a Leupold VX-ll 6 18 40.
Talk to me Annie guys.
Good move? bad move?..better alternative?

I have two Anschutz 64M's and they are great little shooters for the money. They are kind of a midrange between the cheapo CIL/Anschutz type rifles and a full blown 54 actioned rifle.

We use our rifles in the gopher fields and they are great little rifles. Nice and light with a great trigger.
