I've decided that I need a .22LR (I don't have one yet...
)
I'm considering the 10/22 after looking at the remmy, the Savages and the pricey TC.
I already have a .17HMR (Great round!) and its more my accuracy gun so I'm not entirely worried about the reports of the 10/22... but I do want it to be decent enough...
Anyways, I'm thinking of getting the SS 10/22 (K10/22?) and throwing a bushy holosight on it..
Which brings me to my first question:
Anyone have a holosight on there 10/22?
I think the holosight would be handy for grouse or bugs. I think the fast target acquisition would be good, but please tell me if I'm out in left field.
I do want a new barrel for it (Man those Liljas are ###y) but I think its out of my wallets range right now. So the upgrades I'm considering are as follows:
TEN22 ShockStop Bolt Buffer $5.95
VCL 10/22 Auto Bolt Release $9.90
VCL 10/22 Exact Edge Extractor $10.80
VCL 10/22 Target Trigger $21.15
VCL 10/22 Match Hammer and Sear $63.00
SSS SpeedLock CS 10/22 Operating Spring 10.95
I added the prices in case you guys know somewhere else where I can get them for cheaper.
How are those upgrades I listed?
I'm worried mostly about the 10 pound trigger pull
confused which I think the hammer and sear should fix. I'm also worried about the stovepipes, and I've read that the edge extractor is a good solution to that problem.
With those upgrades I'm operating around my budget, so if theres something else I need please tell me!
