Yeah, I like the fluting too. My 338 Lapua built by Dennis did not have a fluted barrel, and it is a heavy rig. In retrospect the fluting may have shaved a few pounds, making it a bit more practical for field work.

What does yours weigh ? Really nice.

So far I have 100 Remington brass, not my first choice but it will have to do for now, who knows it might be just fine. I talked with Shawn Carlock an that's all he uses with very little prep.

Chances are very good that it will be at Summerland. Still a few things needed to complete it.
