another '94 question

As with anything, depends on condition. I bought a nice oldie from 1912 for $400 last fall in VG inside condition and 'well loved' outside condition.

Post '64, USRAC manufacture, and I'm guessing by the serial, late 80's to early 90's, likely angle eject, and scopable.
Should be a solid firearm if cared for. Might draw up to $350.00, depending on condition. Private sale, maybe $300. Not a collectors arm, one for the hunter.

Another thing is the cartridge - 32 WS is not as popular as the 30-30 so it makes it more difficult to get what a 94 in 30-30 would fetch.
Hello Guys; According to my Winchester book your 94 was made after the 1970's.They reached the 3 million mark at that time and this was a milestone.As far as the 32 special cartridge goes some would say it is abit better than the 30-30 but that is like comparing the 6mm to the 243. You may not find ammo for it just anywhere.Some guys love the cartridge so if you do decide to sell it some day it may be a +factor.Most 94's at gun shows are bringing $300+ depending on condition and an early saddle ring type for a blackpowder caliber will be double that price or triple.I like the 30-30 and 32 special as a deer cartridge.You are limited in range but there is a lot less meat damage as compared to the high velocity stuff out there.Any way,enjoy your carbine.I love mine...SaddleTramp...
