hey everyone, very nice forum and glad to be a part of it. I am a newbie but am looking to get a custom precision rifle made. Hopefully this will help me in all my findings and the wealth of information on here is phenomenal. thank you all for sharing.

If you're looking for advice on how to spend the maximum amount of money, with the absolute lowest return value, when building precision rifles, I'm your guy!
 
Thank you for the welcomes guys, I am in the Calgary area. I have quite a few questions as I have no idea which way I want to go yet. What are some opinions on rifles to shoot at 1000m and beyond? I was recommend to go with a .300 win mag caliber
 
Nothing wrong with that idea. Go to the "Precision Rifle" forum and peruse for a while. You'll find lots of valuable info there from people who know the game.....(and some that don't:D)

yup, the precision rifles section will answer a lot of your questions. Lots of great 300, 308, 338 options.
