Another Amazing Find.....

Here is another amazing find that I purchased today. This Smith & Wesson 41 is an early 1970 model with the serial number A168###. It is in amazing condition with a slight blemish in the trigger bar. There's not a scratch on it anywhere. It came with the original box in terrific condition, manual, small sales brochure for Smith & Wesson ammunition, a spare set of competition grips and 3 magazines. The original invoice came with the 41 as well with a sales price of $187.75 dated December 14, 1974. All around it's a terrific piece.

If I could find another pistol that shoots as well as a 41 without adding tons of parts I'd get one

Right now it's in pieces on my work bench. I've had to replace the firing pin, firing pin spring and the extractor spring. Thank goodness I keep a small stock of 41 parts. Otherwise then that, all it needs is a very good cleaning.
