Funny, some of us only think of polar bears when it comes to Churchill .

He used a 140 accubond. all he could see was a bit of the shoulder and the head above the willows at about 80 yards. Hit him right between the eyes . He said it went down so fast he was not sure he even hit it. When he got to it he said the legs were tucked under him like he just went straight down. You can see the blood just by the left eye. There were 3 bulls all together his buddy got one also. So at -38C get the skin off the guts out quarter it and head home 3 hours on the machine. 57 " spread. he is needless to say a very good day. This was his first hunt with his new Benelli Lupo 6.5 CM. And yes still a season ended Dec. 19 th.

Oldly it is just a bit north up the coast from Churchill at North River.
