My second Enfield from the Irishtown show is a 1920 Lithgow Mk III* 1920 that has obviously seen a lot of use but is still in quite good condition with the usual dings and a dented mag. but an excellent (like new) bore. The side of the receiver had been drilled for a scope mount and the charger guide is missing. England is stamped on top of the receiver. I had an extra Lithgow bayonet so needed a rifle to go on it. There were 2 more excellent No.4's at the show, another two that I would class as VG, and another as G. The only other full wood one had rather ugly looking missmatched wood, a missing nose cap and a safety that didn't work. A visitor to the show told my buddy that he had one at home for sale so he picked that one up on the way home. This was the best gun show ever for me.
There is a gun show on Grand Manan (NB) on June 2. They had their first show last year, and those who went were quite anxious to go back this year.
