Together with DNT Optics Canada, we are proud to announce the next great thing to come from DNT Optics.

DNT Hydra! Coming SOON!!!

Standalone Thermal Riflescope + Clip On + Handheld - Hydra redefines the standard for the thermal industry. This is one of the most capable and best valued thermal units on the market. CNC machined from an entire block of aircraft grade aluminum, Hydra is extremely durable for all environments.

It is a multi-function thermal scope. It is a weapon sight, a handheld monocular and a clip-on. Good for use with LPVO and low power prism sights.
Now with Super Resolution AI enhanced algorithm to boost the thermal image making them look better than the competition.\
Check it out. You will love what you see.

Available in 3 sensor sizes as follows:

256x192 Pixels (49 152 total pixels)

We have just discussed the prices with DNT Canada and the factory. Prices for the initial shipment will be as follows:

HYDRA 225 (256x192 sensor) - CA$ 1319.99
HYDRA 335
(384x288 sensor) - CA$ 1999.99
HYDRA 635
(640x512 sensor) - CA$ 3299.99

We can now start taking orders - delivery will only happen once the shipment arrives in Canada. This is estimated to be around mid to end January 2025.

Contact me to place an order, and we'll take a $500 deposit by EMT and balance payable once the units are here.

Thanks

Robbie

Im really on the fence now. I was about to pull the trigger on a tnc and now this come up. I really like the range finder, ballistic calculator night vision capability of the tnc but the clip on aspect of this unit is really what I need. I would rather not have to swap scope and re-zero my rifle when I want to use it for hunting. Clip-on ive seen in the past actully clip on the scope itself, but it look like you will need to have the right rail to line it up with your scope. And youll have to find a kind of rail that you can quickly remove, just like the one on eotech holo. Im just wondering how it work and if it gonna affect the zero of a rifle when you put it on and off.

Normally the clip on units attach to the scope with an adapter - as we still have not seen these Hydra units, we don’t yet know if it will actually clip onto a day scope by means of an adapter - as soon as I know the detail, I will add it here. It would make no sense to me that it needs to be attached on a long rail in front of the day scope - that would severely limit its use.

Thanks for the reply, im gonna keep following this thread until we know more.

what is the picture latency on these things? meaning how long does it take for and action down range to show up on the screen?

No idea as we’ve not seen them yet. It’ll be some time still before we start seeing reviews. It was only announced last week. But given how good the Zulus and Thermnight units are, I would expect this to be very good too.

This would be good for being able to scan without having to sweep a rifle around, then clip on once a target is identified.

If it's meant to work together with a day optic, then identifying good pairings and maybe doing a package deal would be helpful.

DNT will be launching LPVO optics that would go great with this. Standy by for January announcements.
