Another great arguement for shooting .22

I enjoyed my last range trip too. Picked up 1000 spent cases of 22LR lying on a gravel range.. the rain made it that more charming!

If I had to recover the majority of the brass off a gravel area I'd quickly be making up some manner of brass catcher from a tarp and some socket/shock cord tent poles. You may want to look into something like that.

Come to think of it this would not be a bad idea for semi autos as well.

I'm getting old and hate stooping around to pick up brass. .22, 9mm, I don't bother. my only other semi pistol is a DE n 44 mag, at least those are fairly easy to find. Other than that I have a couple of nice revolvers to get my fix. Rifles - anything I can I put a 3bucc brass catcher on, I have 3 of the actual brass catchers and have a few other of the mounting blocks so I can use 1 catcher on differetn guns. Only semi rifle I don't have a good brass catcher for is my SL8, 3bucc don't make one for it, but eventually I'll figure out how to make one work.
