Greetings all... well, it been over 10 years since I last "owned" a rifle/pistol. Over the last year I've decided to get back into things, challenge the standard CFSC, acquire my PAL, and challenge the "restricted" CFSC.
Way back in the late 1990s... After being trained in the Canadian Forces, I was stuck in a hard spot on the account of my birthdate and being force to take some sort of hunter safety course. Dispite the fact that the government trained me to fire larger calibre weapons, they wanted to see a certification from a hunters course to prove that I wouldn't shoot myself! I wrote letters to government. So I walked away from it all. I guess my silent protest was supposed to do something. It only force me to remove myself from hunting, competitive shooting, ect.
So, I'm getting back into the swing of things. Figured I would go all the way (restricted) and looking to make my first purchase before year's end. Hopefully a pistol of sorts.
