Either yesterday or today a woman was killed in her home in south central Yukon, by a grizzly bear. Don't have a lot of details but my son filled me in a bit and apparently the husband went outside and the bear charged him so he hustled back inside and slammed the door to which the bear just came through the living room window. As he was darting out the back door and trying to get his rifle and get it into play apparently the bear came upon his wife and mauled her terminally before he could shoot and kill the grizzly.
Heresay at this point but keep your ears to the ground and the news story should pop up in a day or two...........I think the grizzlies are ahead this year............
