New here (as you can see from my posts).
Just passed my CFSC and CRFSC this past weekend. So a bit early on this but just wanted to get some opinions.
This is what I was thinking of getting for my first guns. Strictly for target shooting.
Was thinking of the Henry 22LR lever - just because I like lever action guns. Or a Ruger 10/22, think I would like the semi-auto on that.
I might also have an opportunity to buy a friend's Remington 700 VRT .223, like the look of it and read some good reviews. Not overly expensive ammo (in bulk).
As for a handgun, I have bounced around a fair bit on this one. My latest thought is try and get my hands on a Glock 19 (9mm) with a 22 converstion kit - this way I can shoot a bunch of 22 while I get comfortable and settled into it. Was also thinking of possibly the Beretta Neos 22. I do like the Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm.
Any thoughts or slams would be appreciated.
