I want to paint the stock on my new Stevens200. I want to use Krylon Fusion. Do I need to use a primer or can I just use the Fusion itself. Can I use a polyurethane clear coat on it afterwards? Thanks.

i believe wit the fusion line of krylon as long as its a synthetic stock you shouldnt need a primer and for clear coat an acrylic would do best for durability

I just use the Fusion stuff as a primer, and then paint the Krylon como stuff over top, as the camo stuff isn't FUSION brand....

I paint the stock with grey fusion:p
