Another Mississauga Newbie

Hello,

I should have posted a while back! I had my first taste of shooting when I was in Army Cadets but it was not until recently that I wanted to go hunting that I wanted my firearms license.

It took a while but I finally took my firearms safety course in May and my PAL app has been in since the beginning of June. I went to go test out Glocks at silverdale and will probably drop by Crumlin for their new shooters night. I'm looking to joining a range and it might be silverdale unless I can find something closer.

I'm counting down the days until I get my license. I've been eying some 22s and 12 gauge shotguns.

The ORA shoots almost every weekend at Borden, when I go I spend the previous night at my son's in Mississauga. There is also a 300m range somewhere near Aurora, I can find out exactly where for you.

It's an indoor range only.

So if you want to shoot outside, the ORA and shoot at Borden is your best bet. It's great fun too. Next weekend Tim will be doing a service rifle practice at Mons range. ORA only. Should be lots of fun and learning. If you come, you will need 200-300 rounds.

Oh, and a semi-auto. You have your M14 coming yet?:D
 
Yes it has arrived, looks ###y and needs to be fired. I just need time and a place. have not had a chance to look into any place yet.
 
lol your title made it seem like Mississauga was full of n00bs :D but i was one a few months ago lol so no hard feelings :)
you only took PAL no RPAL?
