Another my first AR15 thread

Well I finally jumped on the bandwagon and picked myself up a used AR off the EE.
Specs are:
Tactical Innovation's lower and a Cerro upper, 14.5 inch 1 in 7 twist barrel, mag pul stock and grip. Yankee Hill handguard with low profile gas block. Topped off by a Bushnell Trs-25 red dot.

Had it out on the weekend, seems to shoot fine. Could hit a steel gong at 150 yards standing

That's a fine squirt gun ya got Zerex.

How do you guys like that tactical handguard though? I would think something like that would be uncomfortable and snag on stuff all the time. Don't they put those round cover things over the rails that are not used?
